Hurman Technologies Group is a privately held technology company headquartered in Nairobi. We design and build software and hardware for governments and institutions, from the devices people use at the point of service to the systems behind them. We work over long horizons: we advise, we research, and we build.

One thing runs through all of it, and it is the only thing we do: making sure what an institution records about a person is true. Among the work under way: the Palm Identity Network, which strengthens trust between people and the institutions that serve them by verifying a person from the vein pattern beneath the skin of their palm; and EDU AI Research, which marks exams at scale with results a school can stand behind, flagging what it is unsure of for a teacher to check and turning every script into a clear record of where each student stands.
